Review On The Samsung SGH F700 For The Verizon Service

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Samsung first unveiled the SGH F700 earlier this year at 3GSM, there was no mistaking that it took its design cues from Apple’s iPhone. The F700 can also be purchase at places like Cell2Get in there Unlocked Cell Phones section, this means you can use it on any GSM network, since all Unlocked Cell Phones can be used this way. Many other manufacturers, including HTC and LG, have produced handsets that share many of the iPhone’s design features, but the F700 remains the closest to it. It has large wide-screen for navigation and just a single key, similar to the iPhone, but it also has side-sliding full QWERTY keyboard for messaging. It lacks WiFi or large hard drive, but has 3-megapixel camera, HSDPA and microSD slot. It runs on Flash User Interface.

The F700 looks like the iPhone, and that’s that. No, it’s not identical, it is less wide, thicker and dark blue in color, but you wouldn’t be mad if you saw a friend put it on a table and remarked, “Oh, is that your new iPhone?”

The F700 is a big leap for Samsung, which has generally stayed away from touchscreen phones, instead making masses of sliders, which are immensely popular around the world. But Samsung also has a reputation for pushing technological boundaries, even if it doesn’t come up with the idea first.

Verizon Cell Phones also has this phone, known as the Samsung Glyde SCH-U940.

Features:

The F700’s user interface is closer to the LG Viewty’s than the iPhone’s. Certain processes, such as hanging up, are less straightforward than they should be. There are no fancy built-in sensors, so the screen doesn’t automatically change to landscape mode when you tip it over, or realise when your face is near it, or adjust the screen brightness.

It’s probably because it looks so much like the iPhone that we expected an experience as good, which of course it isn’t. The browser doesn’t render pages very well, the music player is relatively basic and the screen just isn’t as large or as sharp as the iPhone’s. But before you count it out of the fight, the F700 does have some redeeming qualities.

HSDPA (3.5G) means you can download data much faster than on the iPhone’s EDGE connection. Unlike the iPhone, you can take pictures and send them to friends via MMS, you can use the camera to shoot videos and you can make 3G video calls using the VGA camera on the front.

As users acknowledge the growing importance that user experience takes on the full touch LCD device as the LCD dominates physically on the device, Samsung has employed analogue cross concept everywhere (across all applications) and has named the UI(User Interface) “Croix” which stands for cross in French. It has an enthusiastic reflection on the usability in terms of input methods, basic navigation, content access methods and task completion scenarios. Pleasure, agility and performance were values when creating the UI. In short, Samsung SGH F700 is the ideal phone for professional as well as non-professional purposes.

Review Of The 8330 Curve By Blackberry For Verizon

Monday, October 6th, 2008

“Verizon Comunications” a well known technological firm has launched many technical products, which are not only advanced and trendy but also reasonable. The well known products launched by Verizon are the wireless mini gods, viz cell phones, which have become a part of everyone’s social life. Cell phones developed by Verizon include Blackberry Verizon Cell Phones, Audiovox, HTC and LG Unlocked Phones etc, All these have varied functionality and properties. The common features among these are:

1) They are easy to operate
2) They are reasonable
3) They come in varied designs, colors and models
4) They have a well built security and Bluetooth mechanism

And most importantly, they are reliable.

The most popular among Verizon’s Blackberry Unlocked Phones is the Blackberry Curve, which has various models under it. Over the years, new models are introduced and worked upon by the users, strangest part being, users never get tired of blackberry as the models being used are designed to adopt to the latest trends and technology giving the users all the facilities they need.

One of the most recent model of Blackberry is the Blackberry 8330 Curve.

Packaged in a liquid silver-colored finish with chrome highlights, smooth edges and soft curves, the BlackBerry Curve 8330 is backed by Verizon Wireless’ high-speed Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) network. This small and light smartphone has rich multimedia capabilities and is VZ Navigator(SM) capable. VZ Navigator is Verizon Wireless’ location-based service that offers customers mapping, audible turn-by-turn navigation and access to information on more than 14 million points of interest.

The BlackBerry Curve 8330, RIM’s smallest and lightest full-QWERTY smartphone, combines stylish looks with the tools people need to manage their professional responsibilities, maintain personal communications and entertain their senses.

The BlackBerry Curve 8330 offers the following capabilities and key features:

• Small and light design that is easy to handle and use; measures 4.2” x 2.4” x 0.6”and weighs only 4 ounces
• Large, vibrant 320 x 240 display, with light sensing technology that automatically adjusts brightness for optimal viewing in outdoor, indoor, and dark environments
• Responsive, highly-tactile full-QWERTY keyboard and RIM’s intuitive trackball navigation system
• Premium phone features including: noise cancellation technology to offset background noise, Speaker Independent Voice Recognition (SIVR) for Voice Activated Dialing (VAD), dedicated “send,” “end,” and “mute” keys, low-distortion speakerphone, and Bluetooth® 2.0, with support for hands-free headsets, stereo headsets (Bluetooth stereo audio profile A2DP/AVRCP), car kits and other Bluetooth accessories
• 2.0 megapixel camera with support for video recording*, self-portrait mirror, enhanced flash and 5X zoom
• Easy access to the popular Facebook® for BlackBerry® Smartphones application
• 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack and dedicated volume controls
• Advanced media player and enhanced desktop media manager software that makes it easy to move media files between a PC and the BlackBerry Curve 8330 – USB Data Cable comes in-box
• MicroSD™/SDHC memory card slot, providing plenty of additional storage (up to 8 GB)
• HTML web browser delivers a fast, rich browsing experience and supports streaming video from sites like m.youtube.com (3GPP RTSP streaming protocol over EV-DO)
• A removable, rechargeable battery, rated for up to 260 minutes of talk time and up to 11 days of standby time
• In-box accessories include: a stereo headset, travel charger and premium tote sleeve

The interface of the liquid-silver Curve 8330 is admittedly cleaner. Icons are large and sit atop a fresh white background. The handset also spares you the preinstalled applications, so the desktop is less cluttered. Aside from the basics available on most BlackBerrys, you’ll see VZ Navigator as the only additional icon. If the Verizon version’s theme doesn’t suit you, there is always the option to switch out to preloaded RIM themes

Thus, Blackberry sure has become a tycoon in today’s mobile world and is technologically and “trendo”logically suited as per today’s mobile users needs!

Audiovox CDM 180 Camera Verizon Cell Phones for Verizon Wireless.

“If you enjoy playing games and browsing the web, then this handset is for you”

Weight: 3.4 oz

Basic Features are:
All Digital Phone
Digital Camera with Flash

Thus it is designed to be an all rounder, which not only attracts game lovers but also professionals who are into online meetings and displays,.It’s high resolution cameras and added effects makes it a perfect device for suiting the needs of people who love taking new pictures or are into photography and at the same time ,its browsing capabilities helps people to communicate online at a much faster rate or to participate in faster transactions .

If most burly cell phones can be represented by, say, Harrison Ford and sexy phones by Brad Pitt, then the Audiovox CDM-180 for Verizon Wireless is Danny DeVito or, if you’re from an earlier generation, Stubby Kaye. Short and squat but not wholly unattractive, the CDM-180 gets its unusual shape from its equally unusual landscape display. Yet despite its distinctive design, the CDM-180 offers an average feature set and a mixed performance. It’s also worth noting that the phone doesn’t take full advantage of the wide body conceit. Still, it may satiate anyone with a taste for a simple yet odd-looking cell phone. At $119 with a one-year contract or $69.99 with a two-year contract, or even when buying it from OnSaleCell.com where they sell Audivox Unlocked Phones, Motorola Unlocked Phones, Samsung Unlocked Phones and more without the contracts, this phone is at a fair price. Strictly speaking, it’s not its width that makes the Audiovox CDM-180 fascinating; it’s the lack of height. At 3.0 by 2.1 by 1 inches, the CDM-180 is just as wide as the Motorola Razr V3, but since it’s an inch shorter, it almost looks square when viewed straight on. What’s more, the short and squat form factor not only gives it a snug fit in small pockets but conversely can also be difficult to locate in a large purse or bag. The CDM-180 is a bit hefty at 3.7 ounces, and the external antenna measures a full inch high. Criticisms aside, the phone does have a solid feel, and despite its shape, it is relatively comfortable to hold while talking. Just remember that if you’re a right-hander, your index finger will end up resting on top of the external color screen during calls. If you’re a southpaw, however, the antenna stub makes an excellent index-finger balance point.

The Audiovox CDM-180 has a landscape internal display, as well as voice commands and dialing that suit the needs of regular users.

To top it off, Audiovox CDM 180 is the most ideal candidate for people who are interested in fancy things and at the same time who love to live life to the max!

Reviewing The Dash By T-mobile By Cell2get

Review of the T-Mobile Dash Phone by Cell2Get

T-Mobile Cell Phones models include the Dash Cell Phone. The Dash Cell Phone or HTC Excalibur is a great SmartPhone that is much smaller and sleeker than it would appear in photos. It isn’t a very photogenic phone, and the screen’s angled corner with the metal face make the DASH phone look rather odd and with a shape that resembles a pear. In spite of its appearance, you can be certain this SmartPhone is the hottest selling model in the United States at the present time. The phone has excellent durability and is sturdy enough to endure some serious abuse though it wouldn’t be a good idea to test that theory.

The keyboard on this phone is rather mediocre but it does include a new feature that is a real time saver. Instead of having to hold the alt key and dial another key to obtain an alternate character, you only have to hold down the appropriate key for a second and it the function you need appears. The phone is also MyFaves compatible for those T-Mobile customers who enjoy that feature. It is also WiFi compatible and has email capabilities. In reality it’s a rather sturdy and capable Smart Phone for the functions for which it is intended.

Also by purchasing this phone as an Unlocked Cell Phones you will be able to use it with any GSM carrier, even overseas. If you are wondering what an unlocked cell phone is, here is a quick explanation. Unlocked cell phones are GSM cell phones that use SIM cards. Each carrier that uses GSM has there own SIM card. Normally phones are locked into specific carriers, by buying them unlocked you can place any GSM SIM card into the phone and it should work.
